Senior Interior Designer
PBK is in search of a Senior Interior Designer to assist in the management of PBK's corporate design department in Houston, Texas. This challenging and fast paced position will require a personable individual, preferably with experience in design of interiors for large scale institutional projects including educational and healthcare projects. An outgoing extrovert with interpersonal skills capable of building relationships with clients is needed. This person must have strong graphics skills, be an effective presenter of ideas and concepts and be completely dedicated to client service. PBK is looking for a leader to manage the interior design team and develop the skills of the junior staff. An energetic, innovative thinker with a client oriented personality and a knack for creative problem solving will succeed in this position.
- A minimum of 10+ years experience in interior design or architecture.
- Must have at least a Bachelor of Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent.
- Proficient in Revit Architecture, Photoshop and Sketchup.
- Strong client service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
- Experience serving in a managerial role over design teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be self motivated.
Architect Intern
The intern's duties will include accurately preparing project construction documents; communicating with and coordinates the preparation of documents with consultants, contractors, team members; reviewing shop drawings, project submittals, etc. for document compliance; documenting code review and compliance; communicating and coordinating with management, clients, consultants and contractors related to daily business operations.

- A minimum of 1 year architectural experience.

An energetic, innovative thinker with a client oriented personality and a knack for creative problem solving will succeed in this position.

- Must have at least a Bachelor of Architecture.
- Proficient in Autocad, Photoshop and Sketchup.
- Strong client service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
