This phase shall provide the production of construction documents required to ensure the proper detailing and design established during the evaluation phase. Roof System type and guarantee, code compliance, maintainability along with anticipated service life, will all be criteria used to determine the most cost-effective, long-term "scope of work". The following is a general "scope of work" to be performed under this Phase:

  • Establish final detailed "Scope of Work" (Roof System Selection and Design Nomenclature)
  • Prepare specification sections (roof deck, roofing system, sheet metal, roof accessories, building sealants, etc.)
  • Prepare and draw required roof plan and roof related details.
  • Assist/Manage pre-proposal and proposal conference.
  • Assist/Manage in the evaluation and selection of contractor.
  • Review/Approval of submittals and shop drawings.
